| V.I.B Boatride hosted by Island Vibez promotion with Dj Renny, Rhytym Intl & Gio. The boat as 1 guest put it there are a lot of people on here and they are enjoying themselves & the vibez are nice. The captain literally had to tell the Dee Jays to control how the guest were rocking the boat. The ride had a very diverse crowd and every bit of music was played throughout the nite. Kalabash Kitchen provided the food which our photographer happily having two plates with room to spare for more :). In all the session was nice and look for the videos to be posted soon which lets the guest tell you how they felt. Big up to Island Vibez for excellent professionalism on how the night was handled & we cant wait for the next ride as they say KABOOOOOOOOM |

| Soca Passion Double Impact featuring two of Texas hottest Dee jay groups Mikie Faith Sound reppin Jamaica & Rhytym Intl repping Trinidad. Double Impact paid special tribute to the Independent anniversaries of Jamaica & Trinidad & Tobago who both respectively celebrated their 48th anniversary of Independence. Many guest wore Red & Black the flag colors of Trini & Green & yellow the flag colors of Jamaica. The vibez as of always at Soca Passion were booming into the early morning Saturday hours @ Preet Pavilion as party goers kept the whines flowing as the dee jays spun the hottest Soca, Reggae & Hip Hop tunes throughout the night. Also a special guest appearance was made by King Dice who was to perform tomorrow night @ The Sienna Hall with many local dee jays in the mix & Jamai Band. |

| Every year one of the most exciting Caribbean Independence Gala's that we look to cover is the Trinidad & Tobago Independence Gala. This year the Gala celebrated the 48th anniversary of Trinidad's Independence. The Gala took place in Downtown Houston Texas at Bella located at 300 Milam and featured great cuisine for all the guest enjoyment but also great entertainment from Int'l Trinidadian performer Denyse Plummer & Local Houston Caribbean entertainers like the Moving Star Tassa Group, Dj Skintight & The Project One Band. Much thanks to the T&T association of Houston President Cherryann & her board for a job well done. |
